I was looking for an inexpensive curling iron with a 3/4" barrel and decided to give this one a try. The 1" iron I have is a bit too large for my shorter hair. I couldn't find any 3/4" size in the stores near me, so I searched Amazon and found this one. I'm very happy with my purchase! It is lightweight which will be a plus for travel & even though it's a regular sized iron, it's not bulky & should pack in a carry-on easily. It heats up quickly & the ceramic coating lets my short hair glide through smoothly & curls it perfectly. A nice feature is the on/off switch on the handle is slightly recessed, so I'm not constantly hitting it & accidentally turning it off like I have done with other curling irons. The temperature control dial goes around the handle & clicks as you change settings, so it too doesn't inadvertently get changed. I guess my only critique of it is the cord is on the shorter side than I'm used to. It's not a deal-breaker, but a slightly longer cord would be better. Overall, it works as well to curl my hair as my expensive larger iron & I would definitely recommend this product.

I am impressed with this curling iron in the sense that it was a great deal at 48% off I got it for 11:49. It heats up quickly and gets very hot and is lightweight and easy to use. So I'm definitely keeping it, but I don't like the fact that the court is kind of short and I would prefer a longer cord. And the temperature gauge is in the way and when I set it down or I use the curling iron it turns the setting down. It's very touchy and the lettering for the on off and things of that nature it is very small I had actually put on my reader glasses to see how to turn it on. But I like the fact that when you're using it and you some of the heat if the barrel is not quite hot the green light will flash letting you know that it is building up the heat again. I am really impressed with the curling iron barrel it just puts really nice curls in your hair. I love the fact that I got it on sale I don't know if I would love it as much if I paid full price for it because of the issues that I mentioned earlier. However it is a keeper and I like the fact that it's white because it looks clean and goes in any bathroom.
